A modular magnetic pen is a parts-based object. Account for loose pieces and the maker’s handling restrictions before considering it for a shared desk.

A pen with a moving clip, a pen assembled from magnets and a balanced spinning prop can all appear under the same search phrase. They do not automatically share refill compatibility, construction or operating instructions.
Record brand, model generation and refill reference together. A similar diameter does not prove the cap, tip or internal stop will fit. The maker’s replacement instructions take precedence over an improvised substitution.
Check that the writing assembly stays together under the intended handling and that any detachable pieces can be stored. This page offers no hands-on reliability rating and does not verify compatibility with nearby equipment.
