The public site uses Firebase Analytics cookies to measure visits. Saved projects use local storage, and embedded videos use YouTube services.
Optional local diagnostics
Off by default. If enabled, this tab counts a few button actions, such as starting play or opening a file link. Records include only the public page ID, content revision, language, fixed component ID and action category (including self-reported Done, Stuck or Not suitable). At most 200 records are kept. No search text, custom names, keystrokes, raw URLs or visitor identifiers are collected. Nothing is sent to us or an advertising service. Turning it off stops counting immediately and clears this tab’s counts and notes when browser storage is available.
Your project lists
Saved items, comparison choices and self-reported reading progress use local storage, which is different from a cookie. You can reset them on their pages. Reading progress is version-specific and does not certify physical skill. Optional local diagnostics store action counts and up to 200 page/revision/language/component records in this tab only. They include self-reported outcomes when enabled; nothing is sent to the site. Clearing this site’s browser data removes these choices.
Optional services
Firebase Analytics may set cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits. Browser privacy controls can block cookies or analytics requests, and clearing this site’s browser data removes locally stored cookies. The local action-count switch below controls only in-tab diagnostics; it does not control Firebase Analytics. Some articles embed YouTube directly, while selected lessons have a Load video button. Playback and any storage used by YouTube follow that provider’s policies. Closing a player does not erase data already handled by the provider.
